Capacitors keeping your amplifier more capact Though amplifiers already have internal capacitors, their size and capacity is limited to keep the amplifier more compact. External capacitors help to deliver power when the audio system places severe demands on the electrical system of the automobile. They are designed to store power to be made available to the amplifier under extreme current draw. Aluminum capacitors have very fast charge/discharge times. Carbon cell capacitors have a higher capacity in a smaller design. The ACAP7JN combines both of these technologies to give you higher capacity in a smaller form without losing charging/discharging times. Audiobahn also offers a traditional aluminum 1-farad capacitor with a choice of standard connection terminals or distribution blocks. |

| POWER EFFICIENCY: Our series of mono block Class D amplifiers by Audiobahn are designed to provide raw power to drive subwoofers. These amplifiers utilized digital switching, an effective method for increasing power from your vehicle’s electrical system. This technology gives Audiobahn’s Class D amplifiers the stability to operate impedances as low as 1 ohm and still remain cool enough to utilize smaller heat sinks and outer chassis. DUAL COOLING FANS: Audiobahn Class D amplifiers feature dual cooling fans which aid in the increase of airflow to critical components on the circuit board’s surface area. This helps maintain the amplifier’s optimum operating temperature which preserves its longevity and power output. In addition, our Class D amplifiers are designed with chassis exhaust venting and side-rail fins to help eliminate harmful heat from sensitive inner components. CLIPPING INDICATOR: When an amplifier is operating outside of its output threshold it can produce square waves or DC current, which can be harmful to subwoofers. This is known as clipping. HIGH CURRENT SERIES |

| STABILITY: Audiobahn High Current amplifiers utilize an advance power supply to increase the stability of their traditional AB MOSFET circuitry. This means High Current amplifiers can operate at much lower impedances and output more power than traditional AB MOSFET amplifiers. These competition amplifiers are stable to impedances as low as 1 ohm mono which allows them to drive maximum power to any component in a vehicle’s sound system. Audiobahn also employs unregulated power supplies which implies the higher the voltage of your electrical system, the more power the amplifier will produce. This makes these power-hunger amplifiers ideal for competition.
DIGITAL METER: Digital meters are featured on all Audiobahn High Current amplifiers. Adding an element of control, the visual indicator allows you to see the voltage of your vehicle and how much voltage the amplifier is receiving. The digital volt meter’s cobalt blue LED illumination is visible in the dark. 4-WAY PROTECTION CIRCUITRY: All Audiobahn amplifiers feature 4-way protection circuitry which is designed to defend the amplifiers from thermal overload, internally-contained short circuits, voltage overload and DC offset. 4-Way protection ensures that these amplifiers will continue to operate despite the “real world” mishaps that can occur in the mobile audio environment. |

| DIGITAL DC INPUT VOLTAGE: Audiobahn Intake Amplifiers feature an on-board cobalt blue digital volt meter which allows a quick assessment of your vehicle’s charging voltage to the amplifier. During normal operation, the display should read between 11.5V and 14.4V. A LO or HI readout indicates a problem that requires attention.
AIR INTAKE FAN: Audiobahn’s Intake Series of amplifiers were made to be ultra-durable and allow for installation versatility. Since heat weakens the inner workings of any electrical component, attention was put into the placement of the air-induction groove and air intake fan. These design components help force cooler outside air into the chassis of the amplifier and help to maintain its optimum operating temperature. NICKEL-PLATED BLOCK TERMINALS: Audiobahn uses nickel-plated block terminals to ensure increased productivity and maintaining proper connection. Because nickel is an ideal electrical conductor, the flow of power is essential in maintaining proper current flow through power connections. The nickel-plated block terminals provide a more efficient power transfer from output terminals to speakers and subwoofers and make a more solid and secure connection for all wires. Each terminal block is also encased in black ABS plastic to prevent short circuits and accidental wire entanglement. |
