HORN TWEETER
Using simulated auditory representation, Audiobahn has
employed specially-contoured horn tweeters for maximum
wide-range sound dispersion. Wide-range dispersion is
vital in marine applications where small speakers must
effectively produce enough sound to cover a larger area.
Covering as much as 165 degrees, the horn tweeter’s
shape gives way to increased amplification of sound
over engine noise and other outside sound interference.
BASKET
To safeguard against the corrosive nature of seawater,
all baskets are cast of aluminum and coated with a textured
paint to prevent wear on the components. The paint is
water proof, protecting the basket against corrosion.
The mesh grill is made of lightweight aluminum and coated
with anti-corrosion paint, as well.
UV PROTECTION
All acrylic components are painted with a special anti-UV
coating. The painted parts are then exposed to a special
ultra-violet light that permanently sets the paint.
Once set, the paint becomes exceedingly smooth and durable,
resisting scratches and peeling. Seawater will not degrade
this anti-UV paint.
