Audiobahn Sponsors Indie Rock Group, Parker Theory
Brea, CA, May 14, 2007 – Highly acclaimed car audio manufacturer Audiobahn recently announced a promotional alliance with the music group, Parker Theory.
For years Audiobahn has been known for partnering up with the most influential artists in the music industry. Their recent collaboration with the up-and-coming indie rock/melodic rock group, Parker Theory will entail several exciting cross promotional opportunities beginning with their upcoming album release.
Parker Theory’s sophomore album, Leaving California, is scheduled for its U.S. release on May 15 under Rescue Records (MRI / Sony Red Distribution). At the helm is talented lead vocalist, Jesse Pruett, who says the group is armed with hard-driving sounds, three-part harmonies, and positive energy.
“Musically we have a lot of different feels on this new record,” says Pruett. “I like so many different styles of music that I think that comes out in the record.”
Hailing from sunny San Diego, Parker Theory started in the summer of 2000 by Pruett. Over the years they have played with many national acts and amazing venues. Hard work and dedication is what this band is all about.
The stories, experiences and passions on Leaving California share the universal laughter, sadness, joy and hope of the adventure of life. Pruett wrote the album at home on an acoustic guitar in 2006. After months of writing the album, Pruett got back together with good friends Jeff Forrest (keyboard & harmonies), bass player Jon Upson, drummer Jarrod Alexander, and guitarists Nick Maybury and Rob Fikse—to play on the album.
Parker Theory will be on tour in Tokyo, Japan in late May promoting the overseas release of their album and then will return to the U.S. for a San Diego CD release show on June 9 at SOMA.
“We’re really excited to have Parker Theory join the Audiobahn family,” says Director of Marketing, Rainier de Ocampo. “This is a great joint venture for us because Parker Theory’s style of music is conducive to what a large part of our audience listens to. Keep your eyes and ears open as Audiobahn has exciting things planned with this group.”
