On the Road Again with Audiobahn

Brea, CA, May 18, 2007-- Jada Toys recently revealed another exciting co-branding partnership with car audio entertainment giant, Audiobahn. Under the Jada Toys brand, the newly designed Road Rigz will feature six popularly-known companies that were strategically selected by the product development and licensing team at Jada Toys. Road Rigz is a new line of company-themed diecast haulers.

“We were looking for fun and fresh ideas for our new line of haulers,” said Pat Au, Jada Toys’ Licensing Manager. “Some of our selected haulers were actually based on a real, full-scale rigs made by these partnering companies.”

“Audiobahn was by far an obvious choice for us for three reasons,” Au continued. “One, they have great looking hauler that travels all across the country. The design of their rig is unmatched and you can’t miss it on the highway. Two, Audiobahn carries a strong name brand. Everybody knows who they are. And third, we feel Audiobahn portrays a perfect example of popular culture today. If it’s hot, you can bet that Audiobahn is on top of it.”

The Road Rigz diecast collection is made up of six rigs including Toyo Tires, Quaker State, Pepsi, Falken Tires, US Postal Service and Audiobahn. The brands were selected based on a popular representation of companies across different age groups and genres.

Expected for a summer 2007 release, the Road Rigz collection will be sold at most hobby stores, diecast retailers, truck stops and even gasoline stations. They will come in two sizes; 1:32 scale (suggested retail price up to $24.99) and a 1:64 scale (suggested retail price up to $14.99).

“Over the years, we have built a very strong promotional relationship with Jada Toys,” says Audiobahn President Nasser Abo Abdo. “When we first introduced our 80-foot show rig back at CES 2006, we received a ton of great promotion. But Jada Toys’ decision to replicate our rig takes it to a whole different level. We are equally honored and excited to have been chosen as one of the six Road Rigz collectibles.”
