Audiobahn Brings The Heat To San Antonio

San Antonio, TX, June 2 & 3, 2007 – Endless show vehicles, food, drink, people, and entertainment can mean only one thing: Texas Heat Wave which definitely lived up to its name this past weekend with temperatures in the 90’s. Audiobahn was well represented at the 2-day event and left guests with nothing but adrenalin.

An estimated 10,000 people attended this year’s event, and even though the weather was hot and humid, the event was undoubtedly “Cool”. Doug Parks Audiobahn’s Director of Marketing and Richard Crowder Audiobahn’s Semi Truck driver represented Audiobahn to the fullest. When people weren’t checking out the rows and rows of tricked-out show cars they could be found grabbing all sorts of Audiobahn gear. T-shirts, lanyards, drink koozies, posters, and bags let the entire event know that Audiobahn was in the house.

Audiobahn’s notorious yellow and black Hyundai Elantra and sponsored Mazda RX-8 was a hit with the weekend’s spectators. Heat Wave guests took tons of pictures and checked out the outstanding installs in both cars. Audiobahn’s Mazda took home 1st place in its class in the show. But what drew the most attention was Audiobahn’s new bright blue product displays and product lineup, the most eye catching in the industry.

During the weekend spectators had lots of ways to stay entertained. When they weren’t grabbing as much free swag as they could carry, taking pictures with models, or checking out all of the hot cars, they were watching the super smoky burn out contest, motorcycle stunt team, and checking out the sound off.

With shows in South Padre Island during Spring Break, San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi at the beginning of October, the Texas Heat Wave movement has proven to be the premier automotive event for enthusiasts nationwide, and Audiobahn is proud to be a part of such an exciting event.
