Brea,
CA, June 16, 2006– Audiobahn has
selected Jamie Steele of Fulton,
Mississippi as the winner of the company’s
highly-acclaimed contest that challenges consumers
to design their own subwoofer. The contest, which
kicked-off on February 1, 2006, drew hundreds of
submissions from the nation’s most creative
artists and car audio enthusiasts. After much consideration,
Steele’s design emerged as the winning entry,
giving way to a comprehensive prize package from
Audiobahn and its marketing partners.
Jamie Steele, 18, recently graduated high school
and plans to attend college to focus on graphic
design. His greatest hobby is drawing, which is
evident in his sketched design of an Audiobahn woofer
cone. “It’s clear that Jamie put a lot
of work into this design,” says Audiobahn
Product Development Manager and Designer Daniel
Jones. “Not only does his design
stand out in a crowd, it will look great once it’s
manufactured.”
As part of his grand prize package, Steele will
receive a pair of specially-manufactured 12-inch
subwoofers featuring his own creative design. Since
Jamie is a fan of classic and exotic cars, he will
receive an exclusive prize package from Maisto
International, consisting of specialty
die-cast 1:18 and 1:24 scale collectible vehicles.
He will also receive a prize package from Interscope
Records, featuring a collection of music
from today’s hottest Interscope artists.
“Maisto International and Interscope Records
have been integral parts of this promotion,”

to our 2nd and 3rd place finalists, too, so we’d

On top of everything, to properly outfit his Dodge
Intrepid, Jamie Steele will win $500 worth of Audiobahn
